Day 22 Prompt: Play With Form

“LA Command – Calling all units – An Amber Alert has been issued for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties – Suspect is driving a gray Toyota Camry – Plate is 4PJJ331 – Suspect is one Jeffrey Troup – 36-year-old white male – victim is his daughter – Vanessa Troup – six years old. Proceed with caution – suspect assumed to be armed and dangerous – Updates to come.”

“LA Command – Update on Vanessa Troup Amber Alert – Suspect has been reported driving north on US 101 near Balboa exit – all nearby units, please proceed with caution.”

“Unit 552 en route – over.”

“Unit 231 en route – over.”

“Police helicopter dispatched to the scene.”

“Unit 454 en route – over.”

“LA Command – Police helicopter can confirm visual of suspect’s vehicle. Vehicle is passing Winnetka Ave.”

“Unit 231 can confirm visual – in pursuit – over.”

“LA Command – CA CHP has initiated a traffic stop at Parkway Calabasas. Exits at Topanga Canyon and Mulholland have been closed.”

“Suspect is fleeing – suspect vehicle is using left hand emergency lane to bypass traffic stop – over.”

“LA Command – CHP has formed a blockade 0.1 miles south of the Las Virgenes exit.”

“Suspect has stopped in the middle of the freeway and appears to be exiting the vehicle – over.”

“This is CHP unit 626 – suspect has exited the vehicle and is brandishing a weapon – over.”

“LA Police Chopper A3 – suspect appears armed – over.”

“LA Command – all units, suspect has exited his vehicle 0.2 miles south of the Las Virgenes exit. Suspect is reported armed – proceed with extreme caution – do we have visual on Vanessa Troup?”

“CHP unit 626 can confirm visual of Vanessa Troup. She is still in the vehicle. Back seat, passenger side – over.”

“Suspect appears to be waving a weapon in the air and approaching blockade – over.”

“SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED!”

“LA Command – suspect has fired on CHP blockade – use extreme caution.”

“His gun jammed… it’s jammed! CHP moving in for arrest – over.”

“CHP can confirm suspect’s arrest – over.”

“This is Unit 231 – we have recovered the victim – Vanessa is safe. Repeat – Vanessa is safe – over.”
